A perfect short outing for a
showery day. It’s the 55th
anniversary weekend of the
Kinver Model Engineers, with
lots of “little trains” trundling
around their elevated 5”/3.5”
track. It’s quite a track too - a
wonderfully convoluted set of
loops, enablng a good long run
in a fairly compact space.
It’s great fun here, even when
it’s trying to rain... The locos
(there are “diesels” too) are
super - some are obviously
freelance, while others are
first-class models of
recognisable prototypes. The
cakes are first class too!
