Needs very little explanation - a steam-hauled excursion from
Bristol to Chester, via Hereford and Shrewsbury, hauled by the
dependable pair of Black 5s 44871 and 45407. Admittedly, the
train was 40 minutes late, but we’ve no idea why. We saw it
hurrying northwards near Craven Arms - going well, sounding
good and making a fine sight. Shame the sun didn’t shine...
