		D821 alias "Doppelganger" heads south near Moor Gates on the North York Moors Railway, 5 August 1990 A bit of an eye-catcher... (When I first put this photo up, I used the name "Dopfelganger". I'm not sure why - can anyone confirm (with a photo) the name carried?)
		A class 33 catches the lowering sun as it leaves Salisbury with an eastbound train, 11 October 1986 This one won me a camera club prize (but it didn't do so well in the railway society)
		D5300 & D5301 head away from Kyle of Lochalsh with an Inverness train, 11 August 1993 (25th anniversary of the 15 guinea special) The mountains of Skye loom in the background. I'm struggling to hold the camera still under the onslaught of midges.
		87012 catches the evening sun at Stafford station, 24 July 1996 Just a glint as the sun drops below the thick cloud cover.
		NIR GM No 208 hurries through Balbriggan with a Dublin train, 30 May 1995 NIR livery in Eire, on the Belfast - Dublin service
		SNCF BB16500 no.16767 arrives at Grande Synthe, Dunquerque, with a train of steel flats, 29 May 1997 There's lots going on at this yard, only a few miles from the tunnel and ferries at Calais.
		Double deck EMU no 92055 arrives at Hazebrouck, 29 May 1997 Eat your heart out, Bulleid....
